Robert Harrison

March 18, 1948 — September 20, 2020

Robert "Bob" Harrison, 72, passed away Sunday, September 20th, 2020.  He was born March 18th, 1948 to Robert and Dorothy Harrison in Paris, AR.

Bob retired from the Air Force as a Master Sargent. In his early years of retirement, he worked as the owner of A & B Estate Sales and owned ABBEY Antiques until he became a devoted caregiver for his beloved wife, Annie, through cancer until her death. In the wake of his grief he wrote and published a book Because of Annie taking readers on a journey through caregiving and grief and solidifying his love for Annie eternally. His talents of writing, caregiving, and connecting with others caught the interest of the Caregiver Space and he spent the rest of his days employed as an ambassador, provided emotional support, and mentored other caregivers and individuals working through their grief. Bob was a devoted family man and supported his entire family, through the good and the bad, and never expected anything in return. He lived a truly selfless life.

Bob was an avid fisherman and storyteller. He knew every word to every song from his glory days and sang quite often. He loved adventure. He was a teacher of unconditional love, and all those whose lives he touched will carry on his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ann Harrison; infant granddaughter, Amber Marie Smith; great-granddaughter, Shiloh Herrig.  Robert is survived by his daughters, Victoria Talent and Melissa McMullen; grandchildren, Brittany Herrig, Daylynn Herrig, Andrew (Dalton) Jimenez, Hannah (Rodrick) Jimenez, Elijah Herrig, London Suhler, Atlanta Suhler, and Beaux McMullen; great-grandchildren, India Herrig and Kymani Lamar.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Robert N. Harrison Memorial Fund to provide financial support for memorial services, final expenses, and family costs. Contributions may be sent to 9555 E Corporate Hills Dr. Wichita, KS 67207.
