Vennie Kongvongsay, 23, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022. He was born November 22, 1998 in Wichita, KS.
Vennie was known for his welcoming personality and sense of humor. He was dependable and willing to help whenever he was asked. Vennie was very loved by his family.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Thao Pho; and grandfather, William Kongvongsay. Vennie is survived by his parents, Tara (Chung Wong) Pho and Johnson (Vivian) Kongvongsay; sister, Kyla Kongvongsay; grandparents, Opha Kongvongsay, Sorn Pho, and Rodney Keo; uncles, Sothy Pho, Khamchanh Kongvongsay, and Tony Pho.
Visitation: Wednesday, February 16, 2022 and Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 4 to 8 pm. Traditional Buddhist Service: 1 pm, Friday, February 18, 2022, all at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
