Van Phong Tran

Van Phong Tran, 33, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024. He was born September 2, 1990 to Hung Tran and Suong Pham in Wichita, KS. 

Van graduated from Butler Community College in May 2019 and became a Registered Nurse at Wesley Woodlawn. He married Cinthia on October 8 and raised two children together. Van enjoyed cooking, his favorite dishes were Japanese curry and bò kho. His hobbies included playing video games, reading manga, and watching anime. 

Van is survived by his parents; wife of 5 years, Cinthia; children, Aiden Robles and Sophia Robles; siblings, Tuyet Bang (Kyle) Lindstrom, Nhung (Miguel Salmeron) Tran, Vu Tran, and Bao Tran; niece, Audrey Lindstrom; nephews, Cormac Lindstrom and Zefiro Nhan Salmeron-Tran; and precious golden child, Sushi, the dog. 

Visitation: Friday, August 2, 2024, from 10 am to 8 pm. Funeral: 10:30 am, Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, Kansas 67210. Interment to follow at Reflection Pointe Cemetery on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 10 am.
