Somphouh Vongsakda

Somphouh Vongsakda, 64, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026. She was born December 22, 1961 to King and Hou Vangdy in Hadxayfong, Laos.

To know Somphouh was to love her and she'll be remembered for always being the life of any party.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Sou Vangdy, You Vangdy, Phet Vangdy, and Mone Vangdy; brothers-in-law, Danny Syakhasone, Sam Phomprida, and Niemg Phomprida; sister-in-law and Sa Phomprida; and parents-in-law, Khampan and Houng Phomprida.

Somphouh is survived by her husband, Paul Vongsakda; children, Kham (Ken) Jinkins, Joyce (Mario) Salazar; and Roger (Steffany Saing) Vongsakda; sisters, Pabou (Wichai Yangsrila) Donesay, Jennifer Syakhasone, Song Phomprida and Lai Phomprida; grandchildren, Kace, Kennadie, Khammi, Alexis, Anissa, Mario III, Madilyn, Aevin, Caine, and Jayla; great-grandchildren, Khloe, Addie, Maverick, Ian, and Asher; nieces, Ghin Donexaymonkhon, Diane Donesay, and Nina Esquivel; and nephews, Sakone Donesay, Lion Donesay Sunny Syakhasone,Ryan Vangdy, and Bei Vangdy.

Visitation: Tuesday, May 19, 2026 and Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 3 to 6 pm. Funeral: 1 pm, May 21, 2026 at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.

She will be greatly missed.
