Savoeun Nhem, 80, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born November 15, 1943 in Battambong, Cambodia.
Savoeun was a devout Buddhist who enjoyed volunteering his time at the Cambodian Temple. He also enjoyed family, fishing and growing vegetables in his garden. Savoeun was a kindhearted soul and would give you the shirt off his back.
He was preceded in death by his; parents, grandparents, siblings and his son Chann Nhem.
Savoeun is survived by his wife Prang Doeur, children, Amie Nhem, Yang (Alyssa) Nhem, Janis (Borey) Saing, Yorth Nhem, Chanda Nhem, and Veasna (Brittany) Crawford, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Traditional Buddhist Service: 1:30 pm, Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
