Raing Chhorm

Raing Chhorm, 63, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017.  He was born May 3, 1954 in Battambang, Cambodia.  Raing is survived by his wife, Heang Sok; daughters, Kosal (Panya Philavong) Chhorm, Ren Chhorm, and Chinda (Rithy Orn) Chhorm; and grandchildren, Tahtiana Chhorm, Alec Philavong, Brandon Philavong, Skyler Philavong, Kobe Philavong, Nya Orn, and Taylor Orn.  Raing enjoyed spending time with family and friends, singing, helping with the temple events, dancing, fishing, and fixing things.  He was a pillar of the Cambodian community.  Raing always showed compassion and empathy to others.  He was a symbol of strength and integrity. A person who is very much loved by many.  He was a husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was always voice of reason, a hand to hold, a shoulder to lean on, and an honorable man. He was an amazing human being. You will be deeply missed.
