Phuoc Huu Nguyen, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 22, 2026. He was born on February 28, 1966, to Con and Thai (Phung) Nguyen in Saigon, Vietnam.
Phuoc’s sudden passing has left his family and friends heartbroken. He was deeply loved not only by his family, but also by everyone fortunate enough to know him. With his fun-loving spirit, warm heart, infectious laughter, and unforgettable sense of humor, Phuoc brought joy wherever he went. He had a rare gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and happy in his presence. His kindness, optimism, and ability to lift others’ spirits will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
To his lifelong friends, classmates, coworkers, and relatives around the world, Phuoc was more than just a friend — he was a source of laughter, encouragement, loyalty, and genuine compassion. Many shared that it still feels impossible to believe he is gone so soon, leaving behind countless memories, stories, and moments of happiness that will be cherished forever.
Phuoc enjoyed traveling, fishing, and playing sports. He was a dedicated employee of Textron for 25 years. No matter where life took him, he remained deeply connected to his friends and loved ones, always ready with a joke, a smile, or a helping hand.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Phuoc is survived by his siblings, Long (Dung) Nguyen, Chan (Nga) Nguyen, Thanh (Thuy) Nguyen, Thuy Nguyen, Hanh (Gordon) Norris, and Dai (Mai-Hoa) Nguyen; nieces and nephews, Aivi Nguyen, Jesse Nguyen, Nathan Nguyen, Melissa Nguyen, Christina Nguyen, Kimberly Nguyen, Lily Nguyen, and Tom Nguyen; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Though his life ended far too soon, the love, laughter, and friendship Phuoc shared with others will never fade. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 27, 2026 and Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 5 to 8 pm, both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita ,KS 67210. Mass of Christian Burial: 10 am, May 29, 2026 at All Saints Catholic Church, 3205 E. Grand St., Wichita, KS 67218.
