Phouphone Xayvong, 60, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022. He was born August 5, 1961 to Chanesoth and Khamphanh Pangyarath in Vientiane, Laos. Phouphone enjoyed exercising and gardening. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Soukan Pangyarath and Khamtan Pangyarath. Phouphone is survived by his wife of 37 years, Vinath Xayvong; children, Noy Chanminaraj, Vicky (Hai Nguyen) Xayvong, Binly Xayvong; grandchildren, Lydia Nguyen and Kennedy Nguyen; and siblings, Thongkhan Makkavone, Viengmone Thammavongsa, Phetsamone Panyarath, Viengkone Panyarath, Monekeo Singsavadee, Chansone Sounboudavong, Banphot Pangyarath, and Khamtoun Pangyarath.
Visitation:Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 3 to 5 pm and Friday, March 4, 2022, from 3 to 5 pm. Traditional Buddhist Service: 2 pm, Sunday, March 6, 2022, all at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
