Phonesay "Cruise" Rasbandith

Phonesay "Cruise" Rasbandith, 50, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025. He was born February 1, 1975 to Inpanh and Khamsay Rasbandith in Vientiane, Laos.

Turn down for whatzzz? Cruise was a pillar of the local Lao community. He'll be remembered as the life of any party and someone that could always be depended on. Cruise loved music and singing karaoke. He cherished the time he got to spend with his friends and family and was always warm and welcoming to everyone.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Amphaivanh "Bobby" Kornmixay.

Phonesay is survived by his parents; step-mother, Bounhom Rasbandith; siblings, Angela Rasbandith-Lee and Gary Rasbandith; wife, Viengkham “Pokkie” Detvongsahak; and children, Kobe Rasbandith and Katie Rasbandith.

Visitation: Thursday, October 30, 2025 and Friday, October 31, 2025 from 3 to 6 pm. Funeral : 1 pm, November 1, 2025, all at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
