Paul Dickerson

Paul Ervin Dickerson, 73, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018. He was born October 8, 1945 to Ervin and Ruby (Sappington) Dickerson in Blackwell, OK. Paul was an avid angler who enjoyed spending his free time out on the lake. His Sunday lunches will be greatly missed by Kristina and Kyle, "wherever [they] wanted to go". Working with the potential WSU students and hired staff gave him something to look forward to everyday. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Dickerson; and parents. Paul is survived by his children, Kevin (Christine) Dickerson and Kristina Dickerson; grandchildren Dannielle Dickerson, Dawson Dickerson and Kyle Andrews; and siblings Dale Dickerson, Jerry Dickerson, Shirley O'Connor, and Les Dickerson. Visitation: Wednesday, January 2, 2019, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm with Funeral Service at 10:00 am, Thursday, January 3, 2019, both at Reflection Pointe Funeral Home, 3201 S. Webb Rd. Wichita, KS 67210. Interment to follow at Hawley Cemetery, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
