Nhom Danh

Nhom Danh, 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. He was born on December 31, 1949 in Kien Giang, Vietnam, and built a life filled with love, resilience, and laughter.

Nhom was a man who never stopped learning. He especially loved practicing his English and asking for “word of the day” lessons from his family. He had a deep love for life’s simple pleasures, watching romvong videos late into the night, sharing fruit, enjoying bowls of rice, slices of pizza, and hamburgers, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. His smile could light up any room, and his warm presence brought comfort and laughter to everyone around him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Nathan Barrintos. Nhom is survived by his devoted wife, Set Thi Danh, his children, Jane (Samnang Danh) Thi and Andy (Cindy Pham) Danh, grandchildren, Elizabeth, Derek, Angelina, Alexander, Skyler, Jasmine, Leon, Kristy, De, Jasley, Milly, and Dola.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Both services will take place at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.

Nhom’s legacy is one of love, curiosity, and joy. His family and friends will remember him for his gentle humor, his kind heart, and the way he made every moment, from a quiet evening of music to a family meal, feel special.
