Michael Absetz

Michael Jon Absetz, 55, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was born July 2, 1965 to Ronald and Brenda (Ramage) Absetz at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.

Michael worked as a CSR/Trainer for DHL Supply Chain. He was a collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia and Volkswagon miniatures. Michael loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Martin and Astrid Absetz and Fred and Erlene Vancil; brother, Ronald Carl II; and uncle, Ralph Absetz. Michael is survived by his mother; brother, Howard Absetz; children, Brianna (Joshua) Newell, Emmilynn (William) Paul, and Mikel Taylor; and grandchildren, Ethan Newell, Kaedence Paul, Bryce Newell, Myles Newell, Oliver Paul, and Clara Newell;.

Visitation: Thursday, April 8th, 2021, from 3 to 8 pm with family present between 5 & 7 pm. Funeral: 10 am, Friday, April 9, 2021, all at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. Interment to follow at Reflection Pointe Cemetery.
