Mia Yvonne Marie Hidalgo

April 19, 2001 — December 16, 2025

Wichita, Kansas

Mia Yvonne Marie Hidalgo, age 24, passed away on December 16, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of stories, laughter and love that will never be forgotten.

Born on April 19, 2001, in Wichita, Kansas. Mia lived her life in a way that made people feel seen, welcomed and valued. She was known for her kindness, humor, determination, generosity and her ability to tell a good story. Mia had a natural gift for making others laugh and listening to others without judgment.

Mia found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including Art & Photography, an appreciation for music, family gatherings, paying a good deed forward, road trips, and creating good food. Those who knew her will remember her as a loyal friend, a supporter, a devoted sister, and a loving daughter. To others, she was someone you remembered long after the conversation ended.

Above all, Mia cherished her loved ones. She is survived by her mother, Annette Hidalgo; her father, Douglas Clendening; her brothers, Isaac Hidalgo and Kyle (Kaleigh) Goebel; her sister, Desiree Clendening; her grandmother, Gloria Hidalgo; her uncles, Jesse (Amy) Hidalgo, Jon (Rod) Hidalgo, and Scott (Marisha) Clendening; her aunts, Michelle (DeManuel) Fedd and Becca Hidalgo; and many cousins, extended family members, and friends. Each of us carries a piece of her legacy through shared traditions and the love she gave so freely.

Mia was preceded in death by her sister, Audreanna Hidalgo; her grandfather, Jesus Hidalgo; and her grandmother, Jane Bell.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are deeply grateful for the time we shared and the memories that will continue to guide us. Mia taught us everlasting lessons about valuing one another, the importance of laughter and showing up for others.

Flowers and cards may be sent to Reflection Point Funeral Home, 3201 South Webb Road, Wichita, Kansas 67210.

The family asks that you honor Mia by hugging your loved ones, helping someone in need, playing her favorite songs and offering a labor of love to others.
