Mercedes “Cedes” Suzanne Sandoval, 32, passed away on August 12, 2025. She was born February 15, 1993, in Murrieta, California.
Cedes was a vibrant soul whose laughter, empathy, and kindness touched everyone she met. Even if she wasn’t speaking directly to you, she had a way of noticing when someone needed help and stepping in with love and compassion. She had a gift for bringing joy to others—whether through her quick wit, her talent for the perfect prank, or her beautiful singing voice.
Above all, Cedes was an amazing mother. Her daughter, Molly Jane, was her entire world—and the feeling was mutual. Their bond was unbreakable, and she would have done anything for Molly.
Cedes also had a playful love for llamas and was completely obsessed with them—if she could have, she would have filled her home with as many as possible. Her warmth, humor, and unique spirit made life brighter for everyone around her.
Her empathy, laughter, and love will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those fortunate enough to know her.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Vic Sarydarian and Richard Woody.
Cedes is survived by her beloved daughter, Molly Jane Mills; parents, Candace Suzanne (Woody) Reyna, Zeferino Reyna, and Fausto Sandoval, Jr.; sisters, Audrianna, Brianna, and Alexis; and grandparents, Carol Woody, Zenda Sarydarian, Maria Sandoval, and Fausto Sandoval, Sr.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, Kansas.
