Mek You, 86, passed away Tuesday, April 18th, 2023. She was born April 13th, 1937 in Taney, Cambodia.
Mek grew up as a farmer in Cambodia and enjoyed gardening. She was an active member of the Wichita Cambodian Buddhist Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Meas Muth; son-in-law, Phorn Chroeung; and brothers, Torng You and Tem You. Mek is survived by her children, Nhan (Sean Ley) Meas, Nhoeun (Nheh Souen) Meas, Mom Meas, Nhoun (Amara Ry) Meas, and Srey (Eric Ley) Meas; sisters, Neth You and Nan You; 15 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, April 21, 2023, from 1 to 4 pm. Traditional Buddhist Service: 2 pm, Saturday, April 22, 2023, both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
