Mary "Rosie" Patten

Mary "Rosie" Patten, 67, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021. She was born October 1, 1954 in Chicago, IL.

Mary served in the US Army for 8 years. She worked as a bus driver for the City of Wichita and a bus monitor for USD 259.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Catherine Wilburn; and siblings, Paul Wilburn, Jr., James Wilburn, Joe Wilburn, Benny Patten, Vesta Patten, Dolores Fryhoover, Frances Armbrust, and Geneva Wilburn. Mary is survived by her husband, Michael Chavez, Sr.; son, Michael Chavez, Jr.; grandchildren, Jessica Chavez, Jenny Chavez, Brandon Chavez, and Pete Chavez; great-grandchildren, Cason Gore, Amaya Crosby, Finley Gore; and Saturn Ridell; and siblings, Glen Patten, Dennis Patten, Otis Patten, Pauletta Fife, Reba June Wilburn, Carolyn Wilburn, Nancy Wilburn, and Loretta Chappell.
