Marvin R. Janssen

Marvin R. Janssen, 75, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021. He was born September 24, 1946 to Merritt and Florence (Baird) Janssen in Galesburg, KS.

He graduated from Labette County Community High School in 1963. Marvin earned his Masters of Business Administration from WSU. Marvin retired as a Captain from the Wichita Police Department after 20 years of service. He worked as Vice President of Security at Nations Bank for 8 years. Marvin then served as the Administration Pastor for Countryside Christian Church for 21 years and was still working up to the time he became ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Marvin is survived by his wife of 55 years, Diana; sons, Craig (Satin) Janssen and Brent Janssen; and grandchildren, Steven & Katelyn Janssen.

Funeral: 10 am, Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Countryside Christian Church. Interment to follow at Reflection Pointe Cemetery.
