Mark Isaacs

May 11, 1971 — February 25, 2024

Wichita, Kansas

Mark Isaacs, 52, of Wichita, KS, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 25th, in his home after a grueling battle with cancer. He fought vigorously with all his strength for seven months after a stage 4 diagnosis.

Born on May 11, 1971 in Newton, KS, Mark attended Hesston schools and graduated from Hesston High in 1989. He excelled in football and earned a scholarship to Pittsburg State, graduating in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems.

After completing his education, Mark went on to work for Pizza Hut Headquarters for several years, relocating to the Wichita area during this time. He then began his 26 year prestigious career at Koch Industries, holding the title of Director of Compliance, Audit, and Analytics.

In December of 1994, Mark married his first wife, Ginny Stephenson, of whom he shared his three children with, although the two later divorced.

Mark found love again and was wed to his best friend, Heather, in Las Vegas on June 17, 2022.

Remaining an avid sports fan, Mark enjoyed spending his free time following college football. He also occupied his time with traveling, spending summer days by his pool, and playing with his dog, Moki.

Mark lives on through his children, Alyssa Anderson and husband Drew, A.J., and Ashlyn. He is survived by his wife Heather; his parents Al and Lorene; and his brother and sister-in-law Mike and Lauri. Although his loved ones feel lost without him, there is relief to know he is finally at peace.

A true one of a kind, Mark will be remembered for his fantastic sense of humor, devotion to his children, and his ability to make friends wherever he goes.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 2nd from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM at the Wichita Botanica Gardens at 701 Amidon St in the Lotus Hall. This will be a come and go event.
