María Elena De Loera, 57, amorosa madre y abuela, falleció el viernes 19 de noviembre de 2021. Nació el 14 de julio de 1964 de Gonzalo y Josefina (Muñoz) Esparza en Calvillo, Aguascalientes, México.

A Elena le encantaba cocinar y era conocida por compartir su amor a través de las comidas que preparaba. Su casa siempre estaba abierta y era como una madre para todos. Elena tenía cariño por los animales, especialmente los perros. Será recordada por su buen humor y su risa contagiosa. Elena tenía un corazón amoroso y descansa en los brazos del Señor.


Le precedió en la muerte su hermana, Christina Esparza. A Elena le sobreviven sus padres; los niños, Elena (Eric) Velásquez, Irene (Lucas) Gibbs y Janell De Loera; nieta, Valencia Velásquez; hermanos, Juan Esparza, Rosa Esparza y Josefina Esparza; y Samuel Rojas.


Visitación: martes 23 de noviembre de 2021, de 5 a 8 pm en Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. Misa de entierro cristiano: 10 am, miércoles 24 de noviembre de 2021 en Our Señora del Perpetuo Socorro, 2351 N. Market St., Wichita, KS 67219. Maria Elena De Loera, 57, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021. She was born July 14, 1964 to Gonzalo and Josefina (Munoz) Esparza in Calvillo, Aguascalientes, Mexico.
Elena loved cooking and was known for sharing her love through the meals she prepared. Her home was always open and she was like a mother to everyone. Elena had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs. She'll be remembered for her high spirits and contagious laugh. Elena had a loving heart and is resting in the arms of the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Christina Esparza. Elena is survived by her parents; children, Elena (Eric) Velasquez, Irene (Lucas) Gibbs, and Janell De Loera; granddaughter, Valencia Velasquez; siblings, Juan Esparza, Rosa Esparza, and Josefina Esparza; and Samuel Rojas.
Visitation: Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 5 to 8 pm at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. Mass of Christian Burial: 10 am, Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 2351 N. Market St., Wichita, KS 67219. Interment to follow at Kensington Gardens, 11500 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS 67206.
