Makiko "Maki" Lancaster, 79, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026. She was born January 5, 1947 to Mitsuo and Hatsumi (Gobaru) Tsukano in Tokyo, Japan.
Maki enjoyed riding on Thomas' motorcycle, traveling, camping, and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Michael Thomas Hughes.
Makiko is survived by her husband of 22 years, Thomas Lancaster; children, Angela Lancaster and Rob Lancaster; and grandchildren, Ashlynn Kilgore, Claire Kilgore, George Lancaster, and Nora Lancaster.
Maki will be laid to rest alongside her son Michael at 10 am, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Fredonia City Cemetery, 8619 Cement Plant Rd., Fredonia, KS 66736.
