Koulap Somchay

Koulap Somchay, 88, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025. She was born January 1, 1937 in Nakong Mayok, Thailand, the fourth child of Sang and Jalong Somchay.

She was preceded her parents; husband, Bounmy Ratsavong in 2005; and son Latry Somchay in 1983.

Koulap is survived by her children, Kongla and his wife, Phayvane and their children, Coby and Lexi Somchay, Ott and her husband Billy, and their children, Chanel ( Jordan ) Sumner, and Haley Somchay, Bounmy and his child, Dyami Somchay, BJ Somchay, and Jason (Javiera) Somchay; great-grandchildren, Myles, Grayson, Blakely Schumann and Theo Sumner.

Visitation: Friday, October 24, 2025 from 3 to 6 pm. Funeral: 1 pm, Saturday, October 25, 2025; all at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
