Karol J. Ritchie

Karol Ritchie, 87, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018.  She was born April 23, 1931 to Herbert and Lela (Peters) Pettibon in Deerfield, MO.  Karol enjoyed sewing, baking, and absolutely adored her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; brother, Kenton Pettibon; and son-in-law, James "Doug" Ritter. Karol is survived by her children, Karen (Ritchie) Ritter, Mark Ritchie, her daughter-in-law Leah Hardy, and her grandchildren, Kathryn Ritter, Emily Ritter, and Ky Hardy-Ritchie. Private family graveside service to take place in Deerfield at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 1820 E. Douglas Ave. Wichita, KS 67214.
