Johnnie Rattana

Johnnie Rattana, 34, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023.  He was born May 23, 1988 to Chay and Chansamone (Kongsouphone) Rattana in Oakland, CA. 

Johnnie was an avid Raiders fan, and repped them every chance he got. He loved to karaoke, sing, and dance, which made him the life of the party wherever he went. He also loved to cook, he was always in the kitchen throwing down or grilling in the summer time. He never passed up an opportunity to spend time with family. No matter where he went, people knew him for his smile and laughter. He will always be remembered for his kind heart and generosity to everyone he encountered.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Inboun and Bounsy Kongsouphone and Nor and Euy Thammavong.  Johnnie is survived by his parents; wife of 13 years, Cherrie Rattana; children, Kaleb Rattana, Layvin Rattana, and Ariyana Duong, step-daughter, Kya Crocker; and sister, Ariya (Jonathan Crigler) Clark.

Visitation: Friday, March 31, 2023, from 2 to 6 pm.  Traditional Buddhist Service: 1 pm, Saturday, April 1, 2023, both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
