James Sayonh, 77, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026. He was born March 2, 1949 in Ban Pakmi, Laos.
James loved traveling, fishing, hunting, and watching sports on television. He was an active member of the Lao Baptist Church where he was a deacon. James will be remembered for his generous heart and willingness to help others.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
James is survived by his wife of 56 years, Anna Sayonh; children, Tong Sayonh, Dong Sayonh, Somphong (Taylor) Sayonh, and Pasong Sayonh; 11 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, June 12, 2026, from 4 to 6 pm at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. Funeral: 1 pm, Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Lao Baptist Church, 2938 S. Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67216.
