Lê Phát Huy

Lê Phát Huy, passed away July 7, 2022 at the age of 56, in St Francis Hospital, Wichita, Kansas.  He was born on December 28th, 1965 to Phat Lan and Ngoc Lang in District 3, Saigon, Vietnam.

Huy went to Cu Chi High School in Cu Chi, Vietnam where he grew up and graduated in 1985. He then became a certified auto mechanic and worked with Metro Bus Transportation Company before immigrating to the US in November 1991. Huy settled in Wichita, Kansas where he remained. He worked many different jobs including Groundkeeper at Intrust Bank, Aircraft Interior Installer with Cessna, and Machinist at D-J Engineering Inc.

Huy was always hard-working and very innovative. He had an eye for inventing gadgets to do various tasks in a better, faster and more efficient way. Huy also had a green thumb to keep his garden well-maintained and fruitful.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  Huy is survived by his wife, Hiền Cao; daughter, Cát Tường Lê; brothers, Đạt Lê, Minh Lê, and Triển Lê; nephews, Khôi Lê, Khoa Lê, Andy Lê, Danny Lê, and Simon Lê; and niece, Katie Lê. 

Funeral Service: 10 am, Friday, July 15, 2022 with visitation following until 2 pm, both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
