George Edward Trent, Jr.

George Edward Trent, Jr., 63, of Wichita, KS, was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on June 18, 2025.

He was born on June 25, 1961 to George Edward Trent, Sr. and Nelda Maurie Trent.

He was an over the road truck driver for over 40 years and spent the last 13 years as CDL driver for Central Mechanical of Wichita. George loved his work and his co-workers. He took great pride in his company and their many projects they accomplished in the the state of Kansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George Edward Trent, Sr. and Nelda Maurie Trent, sister Jennifer Hanna and wife Gwenifer Trent.

George is survived by his three daughter, Valerie Rounkles, Audra (Lonnie) Carr and Maria Trent; sister Jeanine Zimmer and his loving companion of 14 years, Cathy (Guthrie) Wright.

Services will be held June 27th at 2:00 at Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS. Interment to follow. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 26, from 4-8pm.

A celebration of life will follow the services at Little Busters, 457 N. Baltimore, Derby, KS.
