Gary Evans, 72, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021. He was born June 20, 1948 to Leon and Lorene (Simmons) Evans in Wood River, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Gary is survived by his wife of 17 years, Cindi Evans; son, Chris (Kathy) Evans; stepchildren, Shelley (Michael) Layton and Jami (Brad) Moss; sister, Carol (Gordon) Feltenstein; grandchildren, Logan Evans and Sammantha Evans; 5 step-grandchildren; and 1 step great-grandchild.
A private family service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside Ave., Wichita, KS 67219.
