Fred Gustave Winter

Fred Gustave Winter, 48, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025. He was born January 25, 1977 to Stephen and Rufina (James) Winter in Agana, Guam.

Fred grew up in Chuuk, Micronesia and worked as a Chef at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse for over 20 years. He was a kind, loving soul who made everyone feel special.

Fred is survived by his wife of 20 years, Nina; siblings Peter (Jennifer) Winter, Bruce Winter, and Margie Winter; brothers-in-law, Dexter Pham and Charles Pham; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral: 1:00 pm, Friday, November 7, 2025, both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. Interment to follow at Reflection Pointe Cemetery.

Attendees can also wear their favorite Hawaiian shirts and flip flops to honor Fred's easy-going lifestyle and love of nature and the outdoors.
