Dorothy Rhodes

Dorothy Rhodes, loving mother, 80, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023.  She was born February 5, 1943 to William and Helen (Price) Duvall in Baltimore, MD.  

Dorothy worked as a key punch operator for Beech Aircraft for 7 years.  When the family moved to Belle Plaine, she worked in a doctor's office as a nurse.  In 1985, Dorothy began working at the Pizza Hut corporate headquarters in their accounting department until her retirement in 2000.  She enjoyed gardening and cooking.  Dorothy loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Rhodes, Sr.; son, Aaron Rhodes, and sister, Mary Glenn.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Howard (Phyllis) Rhodes, Jr., Amanda Rhodes, and Ryan (Jozette) Rhodes; grandchildren, Anthony (Van) Rhodes, Amy Franklin, Cedric Rhodes, Nicole Rhodes, Nole Rhodes, Carlos Rhodes, and Abby Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Taniya Rhodes, Vanessa Ha, and Austin Ha; and siblings, Charlotte Holliday and David Duvall, Sr. 

Memorial Service: 2 pm, Friday, September 22, 2023 at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
