Dale R. Hobson

Dale R. Hobson, 85, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017. Born November 19, 1931 in Moundville, MO to Carl and Ada (Myers) Hobson. Dale graduated from Andover High School in 1949. He was a USAF veteran and retired from Boeing in 1994. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ann; son, Alan; brothers, Laverne, Marion, and Carl “Dean” Hobson; and sisters, Enid Shaw and Gloria “June” Capps. Dale is survived by his daughter, Deborah (John) Olson; grandson, Evan Olson; sister, Valerie (Mike) Bernritter; nieces and nephews.  Visitation: Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 9 am to noon at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.  A private family service will take place at a later time.    Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1820 E. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS 67214.  The family wishes to thank the staff of Glen Carr House and Serenity Hospice for their loving care and support.
