Christopher Lynn Oblander, 53, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026. He was born May 17, 1972 in Newton, KS.
Chris had a love for cooking, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Formula 1 racing.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Burtis Oblander; mother, Judy (Arellano) Jaso; and grandparents, Virgil and Jean Oblander.
Christopher is survived by his wife of 20 years, Melissa; daughter, Harlee; son Isaac; father, Manuel and Sharon Jaso; brother, Nicholas Jaso II; nieces, Eliseona Perez and Isabella Jaso; and a large extended family.
Memorial Service: 11 am, Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, WildTrust, 512 SE 25th Ave., Pratt, KS 67124-8174.
