Alex Evanitsky

Alex Evanitsky, Jr., 76, father of 2, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022.  He was born March 12, 1946 to Alex and Romayne (Stoutenberg) Evanitsky in Hancock, NY.  

Alex retired from the US Army in 1989 as a Major and was a member of the Lakewood, PA American Legion Lodge.  He enjoyed hunting, playing golf, and even made his own golf clubs.  After retirement, Alex owned a family restaurant for several years in Hancock, NY.  He will be remembered as a gentle soul.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John Evanitsky.  Alex is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kelly; sisters, Jean Ann (Donny) Karcher and Anita Newman; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
