Alan Anh-Thien Tran

Alan Anh-Thien Tran, 37, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022. He was born February 7, 1985 to An Tran and Judy (Pham) Tran in Wichita, KS.

Alan was a great father, brother, uncle, and son who always cared about others before himself. He would do anything and everything for his parents, family, and friends. He coached his brother and nephews through football, helped his friends and nephews fix their cars, played golf and loved listening to country music. He was known as the Asian cowboy and a big teddy bear, who loved his dog, Luna. His presence could light up a room, always joking and playing pranks, he could make anyone laugh. His family was his number one priority and he would drive around the world to be with them and do anything for his family. When not with his family, he was with his friends laughing and helping them with whatever they needed. Alan was loved by all and will be missed.

Alan is survived by his parents, An Tran and Lan-Anh Tran; wife, Anna Phimvongsa; children, Alanna Tran and Andyn Tran; siblings, Christine Tran, Janet Tran, Christianna Tran, and Brandon (Nancy Cobian) Tran; and nieces and nephews, Nicholas Nguyen, Karizma Nola, Christian Nola, Cole Nola, Elijah Tran, and Aaliyah Tran.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent directly to the family. All donations will benefit Alan’s wife and children.
