Aaron Nicholas, aged 42, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on December 29, 2025. Born on September 17, 1983, in Wichita, Kansas, he was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many with his warmth and generosity.
Aaron dedicated many years to his career in engineering at Textron Aviation, where his hard work and expertise were greatly valued. He was an avid outdoorsman, finding joy in fishing and hunting. He was known for his cooking, especially during the cookouts; he loved hosting for family and friends. He loved watching and cheering on his kid's activities! Aaron enjoyed spending time and cherished every moment with his kids and his wife Leonor.
He was a faithful member of Saint Margaret Mary, where he found spiritual solace and community.
Aaron leaves behind his loving wife, Leonor Sanchez; his children, Aaron Jr., Adrian, and Caty; his father, Steve Nicholas; and sisters, Amber Nicholas, Bailey Caceres, and Kelli Jo. He is also survived by his cousins Byron, Ashley, Breeann, Chance, Wesley, and Amy, as well as his aunts and uncles, Carrie (James) Chesick and Danny (Diana) Hankins. Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, Dalana Davis, and his grandparents, Dallas and Sonya Hankins.
Reflection Pointe Funeral in Wichita, Kansas, is handling the arrangements and interment will take place at El Paso Cemetery in Derby, Kansas. Aaron's life and legacy will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
