Carl E. Christensen

Carl E. Christensen, age 70, retired manager for Rental Exchange, passed away unexpectedly October 10, 2010. The visitation with the family present will be from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Road, with services scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, at Midway Baptist Church, 5135 S. Broadway. Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Anna Ruth (Marietta) Christensen and his sister, Etta Cowley. He will be deeply missed by his loving family, wife, Barbara, son, Carl (Brenda) Christensen, Kechi, KS, daughters, Shelly (Tim) Mercer, Wichita, Karen (Marc) Todd, Andover, brother, Kenneth (Liz) Christensen, Hammond, LA, sisters, Ethel Schulze, Irving, TX, Edna Patton, Conway, AR, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a great-grandchild due to be born any day and many nieces and nephews. Carl’s last gift was giving life to people he did not know. His vital organs were unselfishly donated, allowing these people a new chance to live a fulfilled life.
