Billie J. Abbey, age 77, ret. Cessna Certification Administrative Dept., former Garden City resident, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010. Visitation with the family present will be from 6 - 8 PM Monday, with services at 2:00 PM Tuesday, both in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Rd. Billie will lie in state and the family will receive friends at Garnand Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 1 - 2 PM. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Survived by her loving family, sons, Rick Abbey, Kelly (Kim) Abbey, daughter, Shelley (Vern) Martin, all of Wichita, 4 grandchildren. Memorial with Harry Hynes Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202 or Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS, 67219.
