Diane Dickerson

Dickerson, Moya Diane, 61, passed from this life on Friday, August 14, after a brief battle with cancer. Diane was born to John and Ruby Waibel, August 20, 1947, at her Grandma Coulter's house in Jefferson, OK. She moved with her family to Enid, where she attended school, graduating from Enid High School in 1965. She met and married Paul Dickerson on January 29, 1967. They later had two children, Kevin and Kristina. Diane loved her family and enjoyed cooking out, going to the lake and spending time with her grandchildren. Diane was an accounting specialist for Wichita State University for the last 10 years. She recently received a promotion and her family was proud of all her accomplishments. Diane is survived by her husband, Paul, whom she had been married to for 42 years; her son, Kevin and wife, Christine, of Colorado Springs; her daughter, Kristina and husband John Andrews, of Mulvane. Her grandchildren, Danielle and Dawson Dickerson and Kyle Andrews; a sister, Sandei Fain and husband Alan; brothers, Matthew and girlfriend Hazel of Enid, OK; Randy and wife Patti Waibel of Woodward, OK; and lots of nieces and nephews that will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby Waibel of Enid, OK; her grandparents, Thomas and Mabel Coulter of Jefferson and Harry and Mary Waibel of Port Deposit, MD. The visitation with the family present will be from 6 - 8 PM Monday, with services scheduled for 10:30 AM Tuesday, both in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Road. Burial will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, in Hawley, OK Cemetery.
