March 11, 1921 — August 2, 2009

Roy F. Minor, 88, retired Coleman pressman of 40 years and long time member of the Moose Lodge, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday evening, August 4 from 6 to 8pm in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Road. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 5 at Fairview Cemetery, Cheney, KS at 11am. Roy was preceded in death by wife Ann, daughter Linda, 2 brothers, Henry and William, 6 sisters, Cynthia, Elva, Clara, Hazel, Lily, and Alice, and 2 half sisters, Stella, and Annie. He is
survived by wife, Bettie J. of the home, one sister, Dorothy, of Evergreen, Colorado, 2 grandsons, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was well-loved by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, keeping them entertained at family gatherings with stories of his growing up years. He always enjoyed traveling with Ann and continued to do so with Bettie. Memorials have been established with East Heights United Methodist Church and Harry Hynes Hospice.
