Cindy Marie Woosley, of Wichita, 58, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016. She was born January 16, 1958 in Traverse City, MI. Cindy was a U.S. Army retiree beginning in the Women’s Army Corp. Her awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and Army Achievement Medal. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Paul Weidner; and nephew, Johnathon Walker. Cindy is survived by her sons, James “Eli” Woosley and Chad (Vanessa) Woosley; grandson, Bradley Woosley; parents, Walter and Adeline Weidner; siblings, Andrea (Mark) Levins, Christopher (Courtney) Weidner, and Shirley (Kent) Walker-Baker; niece, Charlotte Aggers; and several other nieces and nephews. Memorial services will take place in Lake Charles, LA and Tucson, AZ. Memorial contributions may be made to Hire Heroes or Operation Homefront.
