Bouaphanh Sourivong, 90, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born June 12, 1925 in Vientiane, Laos to Chan Phetkhamchan and Khai Vonglakorn. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ane Sourivong in 2008; and daughter, Sungvane Sourivong in 1969. Bouaphanh is survived by her children, Daniel (Simone) Sourivong, Somphane (Nicky Vorabond) Sourivong, Sungvien Sourivong, Ko (Chang) Sourivong, and Seng (Vorada Vongtheva) Sengthavone; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Traditional Buddhist Service: 2 pm, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Smith Family Mortuary – Haysville, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville, KS 67060.
