Michael Joseph Ruane

Ruane, Michael Joseph, a loving and most devoted father, cherished son and brother died Monday May 4, 2009. Mike was born in 1961 and was raised in Wichita. His Catholic education reinforced his faith and after graduation from Kapaun Mt. Carmel he graduated from The University of Kansas. Michael was employed by the TLC group and worked with restaurant franchisees all his career.
Mike's survivors include his children; Ryan, Brendan and Megan, his parents; Tom and Mary Rita Ruane and his 7 siblings; Irene Fuoco (Frank), Beth Bulger (Jim), Kathy West (Barry), Tom Ruane Jr.(Pam), Jim Ruane (Lisa), Maureen Neidow (Tim), and Colleen Vickers (Michael). He will also be deeply missed by his 20 nieces and nephews and so many loyal friends.
Services at St. Thomas Aquinas Church are prayer of the Rosary at 7:00.P.M. Thursday . His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Friday May 8. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with St. Thomas Aquinas School.
