Michael E. Tucker

Michael E. Tucker, age 61, of Wichita died at his home, Saturday, March 5, 2016 of cancer. There will be no service at this time. Michael was a 1973 graduate of Independence High School and served in the Army from 1974 to 1980. He was a former Cessna employee and was self employed at the time of his death. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Harold D. Tucker. Survivors include his wife, Dixie, of Wichita; mother, Mary Lou Tucker; brothers, Pat Tucker (Taffnee) and Bradley Tucker; daughters, Crystal Tucker and Lindsay Hamilton, all of Independence; stepchildren, Kyra Freeman, of Florida, Richele Burnett, of Galesburg, and David Burnett, of Erie; 4 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
