Samuel Richard Catney

Samuel Richard Catney, 36 year Bombardier employee, born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, died suddenly and peacefully at the age of 59 on January 16, 2016, while on a trip back home in Northern Ireland. He was the loving son of Edna and his late father, Bob. Sam was a devoted father of Frances, Samuel, Catherine and Nicola; loving grandfather of Adam, Emilee, Alexa, Madelyn and Matthew; also caring brother of Sandra and Frank. He is survived by his former wife, mother of his children, and friend, Dorothy. A service was held on Friday 22nd January 2016 at 10.45 a.m. in St. Clements Church of Ireland, Templemore Avenue, Belfast, followed by burial in Roselawn Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00pm, Friday, January 29, 2016 in the Reflection Pointe Chapel, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita.
