Eileen Salmon

Salmon, Eileen, 94, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born July 18, 1921 to Rudolph and Clara (Taylor) Uden in Dodge City, KS. Eileen graduated from Dodge City High School. She met the love of her life, Leonard Salmon and married him on December 28, 1941 in Dodge City. Eileen was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and wonderful friend. She was a dedicated member at Countryside Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, and Leonard, her husband and sweetheart of 54 years. Eileen is survived by her children, JoAnn (Jim) Parrish and Gregory (Jackie) Salmon; grandchildren, Mike (Quincy) Sullivan, Dan (Jennifer) Sullivan, Nick (Maria) Salmon, and Liz (Eron) Nicholson; and great-grandchildren, Michael Sullivan, Jalie Eileen Sullivan, Lauren Sullivan, Lily Salmon, and Zinnia Salmon. Funeral: 10 am, Monday, January 11, 2016 at Countryside Christian Church with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Graveside: 3:30 pm, Monday at Fowler Cemetery in Fowler, KS.
