Charles Ray Welsh

Welsh, Charles R., age 76, ret. US Postal Service letter carrier, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2009. The Rosary will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday, with the Funeral Mass held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, both at All Saints Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Watson Reflection Pointe Cemetery, 3201 S. Webb Road . He is survived by his wife, Verna, son, Craig Welsh, of Augusta, daughters, Colleen (Chuck) Simon, of Wichita, Julie (Brian) Tilley, of Overland Park, KS, sisters, Shirley (Dale) Hastert, Bernice Decker, both of Garnett, KS. Grandchildren: Rachel (Kevin) Carroll, Andrea Simon, Ashley Welsh, Jesse Welsh, Abby Simon, Alex Tilley, Kyle Tilley and 1 great-grandchild Gavin Houston. Memorials may be made to The Lord's Diner, 520 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214. A special thank-you to the doctors, nurses and hospital staff on 5-West and in ICU at Via Christi-St. Joseph.
