L. Ilene Solomoen, 76, best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015. She was born June 6, 1939 to James William and Blanche Leota (Campbell) Tolley in Ashland, KS. Ilene retired from St. Francis Hospital after 35 years. She was a QVC addict. Ilene had a very positive attitude and was loved by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester Ray Solomoen; son, William R. Solomoen; and siblings, Bernice Herrman and James Tolley. Ilene is survived by her children, Carolyn Kilpatric, Chester Solomoen, and Donna (Robert) Buckles; grandchildren, Christopher Kilpatric, Shaun Kilpatric, Jennifer (Brad) Lamb, Justin (Jessica) Kilpatric, and Robby Buckles; and great-grandchildren, Madox, Myia, Adison, Eastyn, and Natalie. Visitation: Tuesday, 1 to 8 pm with family present between 5 and 7 pm. Funeral: 11 am, Wednesday, November 18, 2015; both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
