Patricia Ann (McManis) Burch

Burch, Patricia Ann (McManis), 85, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015. She was born February 16, 1930 to Robert and Roxie McManis in Kingman, KS. Patricia attended Kingman High School and later graduated from Bethany College in Bethany, KS with a degree in education. She worked as a teacher at a farm school in Saline County and later established her own real estate firm called “Burchwood,” which developed two major residential areas in Butler County on Sante Fe Lake Road. Patricia is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years, Robert William Burch; children, Alan (Ann) Burch of Wichita, KS, Gary Burch of Dallas, TX, Angela (Jim) Quinlan of Canton, MI, and Pamela Strong of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Jessica Hembree, Sean Burch, Liz Tiede, Bobby Burch, Paige Quinlan, and Tessa Quinlan; and great-grandchildren, James Hembree and Sam Hembree. Memorial service: 10 am, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 1550 N.
