Ruth Edna Pirner

Pirner, Ruth, age 90, passed peacefully on May 3, 2014. Born in Hartsburg, Mo. January 25, 1924, the youngest of 6 children, Ruth retired from Montgomery Wards after 25 years of service. Survived by her 3 children Teresa (Robert) Jackson, Dan (Cathy) Pirner , and Debra McCarley, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Services will be Friday May 9, at 11 am at Hillside Christian Church, 8330 E Douglas Ave. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Kansas Humane Society.
