Kerry D. Baker

Baker, Kerry D, 57, music minister at Cedar Pointe Baptist Church, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013, after a valiant battle with cancer. Visitation with the family present will be on Friday, June 21, 2013, from 6-8 pm in the Garden Chapel at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 10 am at Cedar Pointe Baptist Church. A graveside service is to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Kerry graduated from Sedgwick High School in 1973 and Friends University with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in 1991. Kerry was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Baker, mother, Joyce Baker, and infant son, Kerry Baker. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Michelle Baker, and his daughters, Jacelyn Baker, Rachel Hutson, Elizabeth Baker and Jessica Baker, his granddaughters, Madelyn Baker and Kylee Hutson, all of Wichita, sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Ronney Huffman of Branson, MO., and brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Lesha Baker of Longmont, CO.
