Florence L. Negri (85) loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away February 9th, 2013. The Rosary will be at 7:00 PM Monday, (TONIGHT), the Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Tuesday, both at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Born September 6, 1927 in Topeka Kansas to Casper and Mary Desch.
Flo was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Frank Negri, her father and mother, and 12 siblings. Flo is survived by daughters, Paula Cook (Monte), Patrice Pittman Warren, Kari Pennington (Mike), grandchildren Kelly Cook, Casey Cook, Brett Pittman, Jason Pittman, Corey Pittman, Sam Warren, Wesley Pennington, Aubrey Pennington and Dawson Pennington. She is also survived by her sister Mary Desch of Topeka Kansas and her brother Raymond Desch of San Antonio, Texas. Flo's work career included working for Dr. Medo Mirza, General Distributors and later retired from OSHA. She and Frank enjoyed traveling to watch Kansas State football and the many trips and dinners with the "Jolly Breakers", a group of very close friends. The Family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Regent, CCU at Wesley Medical Center and Harry Hynes Hospice for the love, care and support they extended to mom. A memorial has been established with Harbor House and the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women.
